Many people do not understand what an swr curve is. The attached file should help you along the road to understanding your antenna system. When your antenna does not work, you should attempt to draw this curve. Compare the curve to a previous curve to see if the antenna changed. If it is the same, the problem is not the antenna.
Swr by itself means little, except as a spot check. The swr curve will show more of the picture.
